除了和某人一起走之外，go with作为动词短语还有几个其他的意思：

① go with 后接某个人或者某人的观点、意见时，表示：

toaccept an idea or agree with a person

同意；接受；与…意见一致。

例：

I think we can go with the advertising agency's suggestions, don't you?

我觉得我们可以采纳广告商的建议，你觉得呢?

②某物 + go with + 另一个东西，就表示两者搭配起来如何如何...

If one thing goes with another, they suit each other or they look ortaste good together.

与…相配；与…协调；与…和谐。

例：

This wine goes particularly well with seafood.

喝这种葡萄酒吃海鲜最合适。

I'm not sure that those shoes really go with that dress.

有朋友来家里作客，临走的时候出于礼貌我们都会送一段路。该怎么表达？

也有可能是出门的路不太方便，

我们更熟悉些需要我们带朋友走一段，

这时候我们就可以用这个短语：

walk sb. out

它的意思就是以走路的形式送某人出去。

I'll walk you out. The exit is hard to find.

我送你出去。出口很难找到。

Please let me walk you out so you don't get lost.

让我送送你吧，省得你迷路。

您先走 ≠ you go first

交际礼仪中，我们常说“您先走，您先请”，如果直译为you go first，给人感觉好像在命令对方“你给我走前边”，这与“您先走，您先请”所要表达的尊重和礼貌”刚好相反。

“您先走”的正确说法是：

After you.

和小伙伴们约好一起聚会，却突然遇到了急事，只能“我先走了”。

这句常用语如何用英文礼貌表达你知道吗？“I go first”错了吗？

英文里并没有“I go first”这种说法，这样的表达很中式。

要地道表达“我先走了”可以用：

I have (got) to go.
